URR (Urea Reduction Ratio)

Blood test comparing the amount of urea in the blood before and after a dialysis treatment to measure the effectiveness of the dialysis prescription.

Kt/V (Urea kinetic modeling)

Measurement of renal dialysis used to determine the dialysis regimen and adequacy (effectiveness) of therapy using the dialyzer clearance of urea (K), dialysis treatment time (T) and volume of urea in the body (V).
